Zulay Shenao is a Colombian born. She is an American-born Colombian actor. Her most notable performance was in the role of Esperanza in her role in the Oprah Winfrey Network series 'If the love you have for someone isn't incorrect'. Her other credits include appearing in various films including 'Illegal Tender', 'Takers' Boy Wonder', and 'True Memoirs of an International Assassin'. She was born in Medellin Antioquia Colombia and moved together with her parents to USA when she was four years old. She went to Methodist College at Fort Bragg in North Carolina while serving three years for the U.S. Army. She pursued acting at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and also worked a variety of at odd jobs prior to beginning her career as an actor. In a more personal context the gorgeous and gifted actress is dating American models Joel Rush. She had previously been engaged to the actor Terrace Howard. Henao is extremely close with her family, and regards this to be her main priority.
