Additionally, she was an athlete that finished second in the 100 meter relay. In 2003 and 2004, Jones won the hurdles indoor event at the NCAA Championship. Jones' career began in 2005 after she completed her degree. Jones began training to prepare for a successful track career. That same year she took home her first Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she won the Ostrava Track event and Heusden.

Brandt immigrated to Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the close of her teen years. Brandt was discovered by casting directors in her native town, and she was offered the role as Naevia for the Starz popular Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Produced by Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences through her performances and became an one of the series' biggest actors. In Auckland, Brandt began as sales representative and was later elevated to the position of an IT consultant. Lesley started her career with commercial ads following some modeling opportunities. Her next appearance was in This Is Not My Life. The show is based on the real account of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was later reprised as the role in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
