Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is an actor most well-known for her role as Bo on The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk were the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and plays the role of drama instructor at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with earliest memories of watching and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk played in a variety of commercials for children. Silk completed her studies at St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met during an Actorsworkshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. The couple got engaged in 2009, and were married in a civil ceremony in December of the same year. In Fredericton on the 10th of April in 2011they renewed their vows, following Silk's conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of the month of May in 2016. Silk is well-known for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by for the Gemini Awards. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk became pregnant during production of the final season episode. The news was announced to the fans during an episode of the Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20th that she was ready to return to her work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production for the fourth season. CNN has named Bo's character with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple for the year 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought an enormous online following on social media.
